• Timer controlled deadman. Running for 2 min. continuously. Warning light, or beeper tells operator 30 sec. before end of the 2 min. Restart timer by a short release of the deadman function.
• Emergency STOP. High output signal as long as power is on. The output is switched to OFF= low, as long as the STOP button on the transmitter is pressed.
• External Override. An input signal from an external unit, which overrides the deadman handset. Emergency STOP on the handset is still active, even if external override is used.
• An interlock output signal when the transmitter is placed in the charge station on the receiver front. Can be used to lock the vehicle from moving after refuelling.

DE212 System operates wireless up to approx. 30m from the refuelling vessel. This range can be adjusted to a longer reach if the XLR model is a part of the system. The system is integrated and is all you need for a safe DeadMan operation. Several Delta Wireless systems can operate in the same area without disturbing each other. All transmitter units are integrated with supression of disturbing radio signals.
Wireless operation improves efficiency and operational safety. No cable length limitations to move around in the refuelling operation area and no cable to brake.
User have no risk for unwanted activation, failsafe system. It is a flexible and modular system which is aasy to operate and maintain. The system has a built in timer, no risk for the operator to manipulate the handheld unit. It has an integrated output for timer warning light and beeper and an emergency stop is included.
System highlights

Delta DE212 is a deadman system for aircraft refuelling trucks and dispensers. The DE212 system can operate wireless or wired.
The CU212-1S is the control unit installed in the drivers cabin, and the CB212-1S is the handheld unit, which are the two main components of the wired deadman.
The wired deadman differs from the wireless as it needs a cable connection between the two units to carry the needed signals. The DE212-1S/F wired deadman is designed for failsafe operation. The DE212-1S wired system is designed to operate the deadman valve and also comprises a stop button on the handheld unit, making it possible to “emergency-stop” the refuelling from a remote position. The DE212 has a built in timer system, with timeout warning outputs for light and beeper. The standard timer is set to 2 minutes with the warning signals 30 seconds before the refuelling will shut down. If the control unit is connected to a simple ON-OFF handswitch, the control unit has to be set to none failsafe operation, this can be selected by a qualified technician.
With more than 15 years of experience in developing and producing deadman systems, the DE212 system has all the security needed for a safe and reliable operation. For special applications, the control unit has inputs for deadman function override and STOP.
The DE212 system is based on the latest technology and has the flexibility to meet new operational demands by upgrading the software in the control unit.
